Celebrating women as carriers of culture and cultural exchange
Conceived Feminine flare with a middle eastern touch. Nomiada is in essence a paradoxical celebration of women as carriers of culture and cultural exchange. Tracing its origins back to the history of the Bedouin, or nomadic women as weavers of cloth and folklore, Nomiada positions the modern diasporic woman as a descendant of the Bedouin; an extension of her free-spirited resistance to being encircled by boundaries of states and ideas. At its core, Nomiada is the embodiment of empowered femininity in its diverse complexity and creative expression.
